Red-hot Red Sox undeterred by Jarren Duran’s outburst, cap dominant July with win over Dodgers

The Boston Red Sox closed out July with a win over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on Friday night, one day after outfielder Jarren Duran's angry outburst directed at Willson Contreras and third-base coach Chad Epperson during a 5-4 win over the Athletics in Sacramento. Interim manager Chad Tracy chose not to bench Duran, who had been batting .195 with a .589 OPS entering the game. Duran responded by driving in the Red Sox's first run in the second inning and adding another RBI to help secure the victory.
