Red Roses make nine changes for Canada clash

England's Red Roses have made nine changes to their lineup for the first of three Tests against Canada in the WXV Global Series, to be played at Sandy Park in Exeter on Saturday. World Cup-winning duo Alex Matthews and Jess Breach return to the starting XV, with Matthews resuming as vice-captain at No. 8 and Breach starting on the right wing. Hooker Bryony Field will make her maiden international start, having scored on debut in last weekend's 48-15 victory over Australia.
