Red Roses suffer back-to-back losses to Canada

England's Red Roses suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time in a decade, losing 31-22 to Canada in the WXV Global Series in Ottawa on October 24, 2026. Canada captain Sophie de Goede was the standout performer, completing a hat-trick and adding three conversions as the hosts pulled clear after England briefly led 17-12 following half-time. The result followed England's 24-21 defeat in Toronto the previous week, ending their four-year unbeaten run.
