Red Sox cause Gerrit Cole headaches again in win over Yankees
The Boston Red Sox defeated the New York Yankees 4-1 at Fenway Park on Saturday, extending their winning streak to three straight games over their rivals. Gerrit Cole struggled against Boston once again, allowing four runs on seven hits over 5 1/3 innings, including home runs from Masataka Yoshida (386 feet, his second of the year) and Anthony Seigler (his first career home run). The win improved the Red Sox to 35-46 and marked the first time they had won three consecutive home games all season.
