Redlands wins 2026 NCAA DIII softball championship

The University of Redlands claimed its first national championship in program history by defeating Trine 7-6 in the 2026 NCAA Division III softball title game on Wednesday, June 3, at Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Virginia. The 64-team tournament field included 42 automatic qualifiers and 22 at-large bids, with the bracket revealed on May 11. The close victory secured Redlands' historic first DIII softball title.
