Reitan fights off surging Fowler to win Truist Championship…

Norway's Kristoffer Reitan claimed his first PGA Tour victory at the Truist Championship in Charlotte, N.C., shooting a final-round 2-under 69 to finish at 15-under 269. He edged out Rickie Fowler and Nicolai Hojgaard by two shots, while third-round leader Alex Fitzpatrick fell three shots back after a closing 73. Reitan, a PGA Tour rookie who had previously won twice on the European Tour, entered the final round one shot behind Fitzpatrick.
