RELEASE: Blackhawks Agree to Terms with Roman Kantserov on Three-Year, Entry-Level Contract

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed forward Roman Kantserov to a three-year, entry-level contract running from the 2026-27 through the 2028-29 season, with a salary cap hit of $1,075,000 per year. The 21-year-old Russian led the KHL with 36 goals and 64 points in 63 games for Metallurg Magnitogorsk during the 2025-26 season, setting all-time KHL records for goals and points by a player under 22. Kantserov also contributed to Metallurg's 2024 Gagarin Cup Championship, posting 13 points in 23 playoff games that season.
