RELEASE: Blackhawks Sign Kevin Korchinski to Two-Year Contract

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed defenseman Kevin Korchinski to a two-year contract with a $1,325,000 salary cap hit, running through the 2027-28 season. The 22-year-old appeared in 13 NHL games during the 2025-26 season, recording two assists, while also posting 26 points in 53 AHL games with the Rockford IceHogs. Korchinski has accumulated 19 points in 105 career NHL games since 2023 and was named MVP at the 2025 AHL All-Star Challenge.
