RELEASE: Oilers re-sign Colton Dach to two-year contract

The Edmonton Oilers have re-signed forward Colton Dach to a two-year contract extension with an average annual value of $1.2 million. The 23-year-old St. Albert native was acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks before the 2026 trade deadline and skated in 61 total games in 2025-26, recording five goals and eight assists with 52 penalty minutes, while also appearing in five playoff games. Originally drafted 62nd overall by Chicago in the 2021 NHL Draft, Dach ranked in the top 15 league-wide in hits last season despite playing fewer games than others in that range.
