Remembering Kent DeMars: A Cornerstone of College Tennis

Kent DeMars, former University of South Carolina men's tennis coach, has passed away at the age of 82. DeMars spent 37 years as a collegiate head coach, working at SIU Edwardsville from 1978 to 1984 and at South Carolina from 1984 to 2010, accumulating over 400 career victories. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association remembered him as a pivotal figure in the development of college tennis, with ITA Chairman Emeritus David A.
