Report: Tanner Tessmann left off USMNT’s final World Cup roster

Midfielder Tanner Tessmann, 24, has been left off the United States men's national team's final 26-man roster for the 2026 World Cup despite being considered a potential starter under coach Mauricio Pochettino. Diego Luna, who recorded four goals and four assists in 18 appearances under Pochettino, was also omitted, while Gio Reyna and Club América winger Alejandro Zendejas were included. The World Cup tournament is set to begin on June 11.
