Reports: Second Hull player flips car near training

French summer signing Lucas Gourna-Douath is reported to have been involved in a single-vehicle accident on Thursday, 1 October 2026, in which his Mercedes flipped onto its side on Millhouse Woods Lane in Cottingham, near Hull City's training ground. Humberside Police confirmed no one was injured in the collision, which occurred at around 8:30am. The incident mirrors a similar accident three weeks earlier involving Hull midfielder Sorba Thomas, who also rolled his car on the same street without injury.
