RFU expects £10m loss off the back of England’s worst Six Nations campaign
The Rugby Football Union (RFU) expects a £10 million financial loss for the year ending June 2026, largely attributed to England's dismal 2026 Six Nations campaign. England lost four of their five matches in the tournament, finishing fifth place in what is described as their worst-ever Six Nations performance. Despite the significant loss, the RFU stated the union 'continued to perform in line with our plans.'
