Richard Childress Racing reserving Kyle Busch's No. 8 until his 11-year-old son is 'ready to go NASCAR racing'
NASCAR driver Kyle Busch has died, and Richard Childress Racing has announced it will suspend use of his No. 8 Chevrolet out of respect. The team will run the No. 33 going forward, starting at Charlotte Motor Speedway. RCR has formally reserved the No. 8 for Kyle's 11-year-old son Brexton Busch, who has been racing since 2020 and has won more than 100 races across various circuits.
