Rob Couhig: Reading owner says club in talks with Bath Rugby over stadium use

Reading FC owner Rob Couhig has confirmed that the club has held 'serious discussions' with Bath Rugby about the Premiership side playing two of their 2026-27 home games at Reading's Select Car Leasing Stadium. Bath announced they will relocate their final two home matches of the season away from the Recreation Ground to allow redevelopment construction to begin. Couhig, who took over as Reading owner in May 2025, declined to reveal how advanced the negotiations are.
