Robertson rant and the wrong system? Pocognoli’s Scotland start raises questions

Scotland are facing a third-place finish in Group B1 of the Nations League under new manager Sébastien Pocognoli, which would have negative consequences for their seeding in Euro 2028 qualifying. Pocognoli's first four games in charge have drawn criticism, with questions raised over team selections and tactical decisions, including Ben Gannon-Doak being played out of position. The lack of a 'new manager bounce' has prompted wider debate about the system and overall direction of the Scottish national team.
