Rockford Boxing Classic to have best lineup to date

The Rockford Boxing Classic returns to City Market Pavilion for its fifth consecutive year, featuring 32 amateur male and female boxers from Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Sixteen competitors represent the Rockford Patriots Boxing Club, including Julian Lugo, a four-time Illinois Golden Gloves Champion and National Golden Gloves Bronze Medalist. First-time participants George Harker and Brian Nicholson will also compete in the event, which organizers describe as the best lineup in the classic's history.
