Ronaldo's eldest son earns first Portugal U17 call-up

Cristiano Ronaldo Júnior, 16, has received his first call-up to Portugal's Under-17 squad, selected by coach Filipe Ramos in a 23-man group for UEFA European Championship qualifying matches in November. The Al Nassr academy forward, who has previously represented Portugal at U15 and U16 level, will feature in games against Andorra (Nov. 11), Bulgaria (Nov. 14), and Serbia (Nov. 17), all held in Lisbon. Meanwhile, his father Cristiano Ronaldo, 41, is serving a 30-day suspension from the senior national team issued by the Portuguese Football Federation after he walked out during last month's Nations League campaign.
