Rory McIlroy rues double-bogey as Jon Rahm leads heading into final round in Abu Dhabi

Jon Rahm leads the Abu Dhabi Championship heading into the final round, with Rory McIlroy sitting two shots behind. McIlroy carded eight birdies during his third round on Saturday, November 7, 2026, but a double-bogey on the 10th hole prevented him from drawing level with Rahm. McIlroy will need to make up the two-shot deficit in the final round to claim the title.
