Rory McIlroy says LIV Golf was 'half a good idea, executed poorly' but would welcome players back to DP World Tour

Rory McIlroy, speaking ahead of the DP World India Championship, described LIV Golf as 'half a good idea, executed poorly' and stated he no longer views it as a threat to traditional golf following PIF's withdrawal of support and LIV's bankruptcy filing. Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund had invested £3.7 billion into the breakaway league. McIlroy also said he would welcome LIV players back to the DP World Tour.
