Seventeen-year-old Freddie Rowe won the Gandy Mile at the 2026 Loughborough International Athletics meet, representing the Novuna GB & NI U20 team for the first time, clocking a time of 4:04.10 ahead of Ted Higgins and Adam Brown. Rowe, who recently became the youngest winner of the Bannister Mile, has set his sights on breaking the four-minute barrier.
