Royals, Red Sox to play in 2027 MLB at Field of Dreams game

MLB announced on August 14 that the Kansas City Royals and Boston Red Sox will play at the Field of Dreams Movie Site in Dyersville, Iowa on August 12, 2027, with the game to be broadcast nationally on NBC Sports. This will be the fourth MLB game held at the iconic location where the 1989 film was shot. Previous games include the White Sox vs. Yankees in 2021, Cubs vs. Reds in 2022, and most recently the Phillies defeating the Twins 7-1 on August 13, 2025.
