Ruby White poised for Commonwealth Games breakthrough as 19-year-old targets boxing gold

Ruby White, a 19-year-old British boxer, has been named in Team England's squad for the 2026 Commonwealth Games. The 5ft1in fighter boasts an extraordinary amateur record, including four European titles, seven national championships, and a historic gold medal at the inaugural U19 World Boxing Championships in Colorado in 2024, where she competed at 48kg at just 17 years old. White has also remained unbeaten across more than 60 amateur bouts and will be making her Commonwealth Games debut at the upcoming 2026 edition.
