Rugby brain injury court case at risk of collapse

A landmark legal case involving 561 former rugby players alleging brain injuries caused by World Rugby, the WRU, RFU, and other governing bodies is at risk of collapse at London's High Court. Presiding judge Senior Master Jeremy Cook is considering striking out 95% of the first batch of claimants due to their failure to disclose documents related to neurological testing. The judge placed blame on their lawyer Richard Boardman of Rylands Garth rather than the players themselves, and Boardman has since notified the court of his intention to withdraw from the case.
