Golden Boy Promotions has issued a cease-and-desist order to Zuffa Boxing and TKO, alleging tortious interference with WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia. Zuffa Boxing, led by Dana White, Nick Khan, and Turki Alalshikh, was reportedly finalizing a September 12 fight in Las Vegas between Garcia and Conor Benn, who recently signed a multi-fight deal with Zuffa. Although Garcia's exclusive deal with Golden Boy ended after his February win over Mario Barrios, the promoter retains a multi-fight co-promotional option, meaning Zuffa cannot finalize agreements with Garcia's company without Golden Boy's consent.
