Ryde completes the #BSBthreepeat to make Championship history
Kyle Ryde made British Superbike Championship history on 18 October 2026 by winning his third consecutive title at Brands Hatch, becoming the first rider in the 30-year history of the series to achieve three in a row since Niall Mackenzie did so from 1996 to 1998. Ryde also became the first rider to win consecutive titles with two different manufacturers, having claimed his 2023 and 2024 championships on a Yamaha before switching to a Ducati V4 R for his 2026 defence. He entered the season finale with a 53-point lead, having recorded 16 race wins and 12 additional podiums throughout the season.
