Ryder Cup 2027: Jim Furyk to return as US Ryder Cup captain in 2027

Jim Furyk, 55, has been confirmed as the US Ryder Cup captain for the 2027 edition, which will be held in Ireland. Furyk previously captained the US team at the 2018 Ryder Cup in Paris, where Europe won convincingly 17½-10½. He takes on the role after Tiger Woods declined it earlier this month following his arrest and charge for driving under the influence in Florida.
