Ryder Cup 2027: Organisers defend ticket prices for event's return to Ireland

Ryder Cup organisers have defended a significant increase in ticket prices for the 2027 centenary event at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland. Daily general admission tickets for the three tournament days on 17-19 September will cost 499 euros (£434), nearly double the up to 260 euros charged at the last European edition in Rome in 2023. This marks a record high for Ryder Cup ticket prices, with Adare Manor set to become only the second Irish venue to host the event after the K Club in 2006.
