Sabres acquire Crevier, 4th-overall pick from Blackhawks
The Buffalo Sabres acquired defenseman Louis Crevier and two 2026 NHL Draft picks (4th and 45th overall) from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for defenseman Bowen Byram and forward Jordan Greenway, the team announced on June 24, 2026. Crevier, 25, recorded 25 points in 78 games during the 2025-26 season and carries a cap hit of $900,000 through 2026-27. The deal gives Buffalo two first-round picks heading into the NHL Draft at KeyBank Center and frees approximately $9.35 million in cap space for the upcoming season.
