Sabres edge Canadiens in Game 4 to even Eastern 2nd Round

The Buffalo Sabres defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Second Round on Tuesday at Bell Centre, evening the best-of-7 series at 2-2. Zach Benson scored the go-ahead power-play goal at 4:41 of the third period, while Tage Thompson contributed a goal and an assist and goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 28 saves in his first start since April 21. Alex Newhook and Cole Caufield scored for Montreal, with Game 5 scheduled at Buffalo on Thursday.
