San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan plans to coach the exhibition opener following car crash

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan stated on Saturday that he is nearly fully recovered from a July 14 car crash that left him with a concussion, broken ribs, a broken nose, a broken hand, and over 40 stitches above his eye. Shanahan has attended practice every day during training camp and confirmed he plans to coach the team's first exhibition game on Thursday night. He noted that lingering concussion symptoms including headaches and fatigue are his only remaining issues.
