Saudi Arabia dropped from World Rally Championship

The final round of the 2026 World Rally Championship has been moved from Saudi Arabia to Italy due to ongoing unrest in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia had been scheduled to host the 14th and final rally of the season from 11-14 November, but the championship has now been shortened to 13 rounds. The season will instead conclude with the Rally Italia in Sardinia, taking place from 1-4 October.
