Savinho seals £75m Spurs move from Manchester City – and changes name to Sávio

Brazilian winger Savinho has completed a £75m transfer to Tottenham Hotspur from Manchester City, with the deal potentially rising to £85m including add-ons. The player has announced he wishes to be known as Sávio going forward, and will wear that name on his shirt. The fee represents a record sale for Manchester City, who originally signed him from Troyes in 2024 for £30.8m.
