Schaefer of Islanders, Sennecke of Ducks honored on NHL All-Rookie Team

The NHL announced its 2025-26 All-Rookie Team on June 12, 2026, with Calder Memorial Trophy winner Matthew Schaefer of the New York Islanders and Ivan Demidov of the Montreal Canadiens named as unanimous selections. The team also includes Beckett Sennecke of the Anaheim Ducks, goaltender Jakub Dobes of the Canadiens, defenseman Alexander Nikishin of the Carolina Hurricanes, and forward Jimmy Snuggerud of the St. Louis Blues. Dobes led all rookie goaltenders with 29 wins in 43 appearances, helping Montreal reach the playoffs for the second consecutive season.
