Scotland’s remarkable three-way title race – and the 41-year wait that could end

Scotland's Scottish Premiership title race has become a three-way contest for the first time in 41 years, with Hearts leading Celtic by three points and Rangers by four with just four games remaining. Hearts, who have not won the league in 65 years, are on the verge of breaking the long-standing dominance of Celtic and Rangers, known as the 'Old Firm'. The last time a club outside the Old Firm won the Scottish title was Aberdeen in 1984-85, when the team was managed by Alex Ferguson.
