Scott Hastings, Scotland rugby union great, dies aged 61
Scott Hastings, the Scotland rugby union centre who was part of the 1990 Grand Slam-winning team, has died at the age of 61 following a battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, which he was diagnosed with four years ago. Hastings earned 65 caps for Scotland, including 51 alongside his brother Gavin, and made his international debut against France in January 1986. He also played in two Tests on the successful 1989 British & Irish Lions tour to Australia and was part of the squad that toured New Zealand in 1993.
