Scott Parker leaves Burnley following Premier League relegation

Scott Parker has left his position as head coach of Burnley Football Club by mutual consent following the club's relegation from the Premier League. Parker, 45, had joined Burnley in the summer of 2024, succeeding Vincent Kompany, and led the club to promotion from the Championship with 100 points, including 30 clean sheets. However, the team struggled in the top flight, winning just four league games and finishing 19th, 16 points adrift of safety with four matches remaining.
