Scottie Scheffler close to another PGA Tour money title, passing Tiger Woods

Scottie Scheffler is on the verge of claiming the 2024 PGA Tour money title after his tie for 12th at the BMW Championship earned him $426,250, bringing his season total to $20,937,524. Only Cameron Young ($14,408,482), Matt Fitzpatrick ($14,271,066), and BMW Championship winner Wyndham Clark ($14,236,186) can surpass him, and only if they win the Tour Championship (August 27-30 at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta) while Scheffler finishes poorly. A Scheffler victory would also see him surpass Tiger Woods' PGA Tour single-season money record.
