Scottie Scheffler close to taking over top spot on PGA Tour money list

Scottie Scheffler is closing in on the 2026 PGA Tour season money list leader Cameron Young after earning $710,700 for a third-place finish at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. Scheffler led the 2025 season with $27.7 million in winnings, ahead of Tommy Fleetwood ($18.5 million) and Rory McIlroy ($17 million). The 2026 PGA Tour season features more than $400 million in combined purses, with standings current as of May 26, 2026.
