Scottie Scheffler recorded his 10th top-10 finish in 16 starts at The Open Championship, tying for fourth at Royal Birkdale and earning $827,500, pushing his season earnings close to $16 million. Despite going winless in major championships this season, Scheffler has maintained the top spot on the PGA Tour money list for five consecutive weeks, leading second-place Cameron Young by more than $2 million. Ryan Fox claimed the record first-place Open Championship check of $3.2 million, giving him a significant boost up the money list.
