The South Dakota Open Tennis Tournament is taking place this weekend in Sioux Falls, drawing players from across the country, including top-ranked professionals. Tournament Director Marc Kurtz highlighted women's players Jesse Aney and Jessica Failla, both ranked in the top 200-300 in the world, as notable attendees. The event features a record prize purse of $22,000, with 75 men's players signing up for a field limited to 64, necessitating a qualifying round on Thursday night.
