Sean O'Malley's coach believes Daniel Cormier may have a personal issue with 'Sugar' after UFC 333

Following UFC 333, Sean O'Malley's longtime coach Tim Welch publicly stated that he believes former UFC champion Daniel Cormier has a personal issue with O'Malley, claiming 'DC' has consistently shown a bias against 'Sugar' and dislikes seeing him win. Welch's comments came in the wake of the October 2026 event, suggesting ongoing tension between the commentator and the fighter. The remarks highlight a perceived animosity from Cormier toward O'Malley that Welch believes has been evident over time.
