Seattle Sounders, Reign Exec Weber Named Edmonton Oilers CEO

Hugh Weber, president of business operations for the Seattle Sounders and Seattle Reign, has been named CEO of the Edmonton Oilers. Weber brings over 25 years of sports executive experience, including seven years as president of the New Orleans Hornets (2005–2012), where he achieved record ticket sales and sponsorship numbers, and a subsequent role as president of the New Jersey Devils.
