Seb Coe at 70: his career, race by race

Sebastian Coe, now known as Lord Coe and president of World Athletics, celebrated his 70th birthday on September 29. Athletics Weekly marked the occasion by reviewing every race of his career, from his debut in the publication as a 14-year-old winning a Yorkshire colts cross-country race in 1971 to his final competitive appearance at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland. During his athletic career, Coe won two Olympic 1500m titles, two Olympic 800m silver medals, and set 12 world records, including an 800m mark of 1:41.73 that stood unbeaten for 16 years.
