Seeding pots set for Champions League draw

The seeding pots for the UEFA Champions League league phase draw have been confirmed ahead of Thursday's draw, with 36 teams divided into four pots based on their UEFA results over the past five years. Two-time defending champions Paris Saint-Germain headline Pot 1 alongside Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Inter Milan, and Atlético Madrid. Manchester United, returning to the competition after a two-year absence, will be drawn from Pot 2, joined by Europa League winners Aston Villa and former champions Borussia Dortmund and FC Porto.
