Senators sign Xavier Bourgault to one-year, two-way contract

The Ottawa Senators have signed 23-year-old forward Xavier Bourgault to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2026-27 season, as announced by general manager Steve Staios. Bourgault had his most productive professional season with the AHL's Belleville Senators, recording 25 goals and 57 points to finish as the team's second-leading scorer. He also made his NHL debut on December 27 in Toronto after being called up to Ottawa twice during the season.
