Senegal announce Vieira as new head coach

Senegal has appointed 50-year-old Patrick Vieira as head coach of their senior national team, confirmed by the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) following a unanimous vote by its emergency committee on Monday. Vieira, born in Dakar in 1976, is a France legend who won 107 caps and claimed both the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000.
