Serena & Venus Williams set to play women's doubles in Cincinnati

Serena and Venus Williams have been awarded a wildcard entry for the women's doubles at the Cincinnati Open, a WTA 1000 event running from August 11-23 in Ohio. This will mark the first time the sisters have played doubles together since the 2022 US Open. Their planned doubles appearance at Wimbledon in July was cancelled after Serena, 44, suffered a knee injury during her singles comeback loss to Australia's Maya Joint.
