Sergio Pérez signs new Cadillac deal until 2029

Sergio Pérez has signed a three-year contract extension with the Cadillac Formula 1 team, keeping him with the American outfit until 2029. The announcement was made to coincide with the 36-year-old Mexican's 300th Formula 1 race, the Mexico City Grand Prix. Pérez, a six-time Grand Prix winner, joined Cadillac ahead of the current season following his departure from Red Bull at the end of 2024, though he is currently pointless this season alongside teammates Valtteri Bottas.
