Serrano equals knockout record with Hanson victory

Amanda Serrano retained her WBA and WBO featherweight titles by stopping Cheyenne Hanson in the second round in El Paso, Texas on May 31, 2026. The 37-year-old American equalled the record for the most knockouts in women's boxing history, now holding 32 career knockout wins, and was the first fighter to stop Hanson inside the distance. In the co-main event, former UFC star Holly Holm narrowly lost to undefeated champion Stephanie Han by scores of 96-94 on two judges' cards, missing out on the WBA lightweight title.
